HOW MANY GMC MULTIPRO™ TAILGATE USES ARE THERE?
Offering six distinct uses, the 2019 GMC Sierra MultiPro™ Tailgate can do pretty much everything. In its essence, the new GMC MultiPro™ Tailgate is two tailgates in one: in addition to its primary gate, it offers a smaller inner gate. These two gates can be raised and lowered to create several unique combinations that make the new GMC Sierra trucks more adaptable than ever before. The six GMC MultiPro™ Tailgate configurations include:
PRIMARY GATE LOAD STOP:
Transporting longer items that require you to keep the primary gate down? The load stop feature allows you to prevent everything from sliding out of the box. Simply pull out the inside panel of the inner gate and fold it upright.

EASY ACCESS
The GMC MultiPro™ Tailgate easy access feature allows you to lower the inner gate while the primary gate is already lowered, so you can stand up to nine inches closer and have improved reach.
FULL-WIDTH STEP:
By unlatching and folding down the inner gate, you can create a 48-inch wide step, allowing for easy access into the bed of your 2019 GMC Sierra truck.
INNER GATE LOAD STOP:
The new Sierra cargo bed features a two-tier loading design, making it easy to insert a platform to separate items into two layers.
INNER GATE WORK SURFACE:
Lowering the inner gate alone can turn the back of your GMC Sierra into a comfortable work surface at just the right height.
