It comes with a special AT4 appearance package, perforated leather seats along with heated and ventilated front seats and adaptive cruise control. Our Olathe and Overland Park buyers will appreciate that fact that it even includes a Bose seven-speaker stereo system.

The AT4 has an upgraded all-wheel drive system, hill-descent control, hill-hold assist, and a special off-road-tuned performance suspension system that make it a more capable off-road SUV. In addition, the AT4 comes with gloss-black roof rails, red front recovery hooks, all-terrain tires and skid plates to protect the underbody.

The GMC Yukon SUV AT4 trim

The GMC Yukon AT4 trim goes beyond being the most capable Yukon off-roader. It also elevates this SUV into luxury territory. Upgrades in the AT4 version of the GMC Yukon include standard 4-wheel drive, a two-speed transfer case, a 2-inch lift, all-terrain tires and a Magnetic Ride Control suspension that enhances off-road capability. The AT4 also includes a special AT4 appearance package, a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats and power-folding third-row seats. At this trim level, you can get an optional 6.2-liter V8 engine with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

What exactly is the AT4 trim and what does “AT4” stand for?

In the GMC world, “AT4” is short for an “all-terrain 4-wheel drive” vehicle. These trucks and SUVs come with the kind of equipment that allows you to go off-road while still delivering solid, smooth performance on paved surfaces around Lee's Summit and Leavenworth.

Does the AT4 trim come lifted?

Yes, on the GMC Sierra 1500 pickup, the GMC Acadia, the GMC Canyon and the GMC Yukon SUV you get a factory-installed 2-inch lift. On the GMC Sierra 1500 that extra lift results in a maximum ground clearance of more than 10 inches.

What's the difference between SLT and AT4 trim levels?

The SLT trim offers an all-wheel drive system as an available option while the AT4 trim comes standard with all-wheel drive. What's more, the AT4 includes other off-road equipment like rugged skid plates and a dedicated off-road mode.
